@Here.for.ahjuicy he wanted to stick him by his side, He wanted the MC to feel guilty about the situation (a no-win situation) and for that guilt to force him to stay with him. He knew that after leaking the news everywhere the MC will go he will be know as the crown prince mistress. So nobody will try to get him 🤷🏾♀️
