Another theory before i leave:
Even thought taeui isn't lucky person by the term genius and surrounding unlike his brother there are hints that he is lucky in different quality that his brother doesn't have, i believe that taeui is lucky by emotionally stability why? Well when you decided to reread the entire manwha ( if that what it's called) again you'll see how he often incountered many shi*** situation like his crush fuc**** his enemy (ilay) infront of his eyes, ilay forcefully fu** him, ilay covered in blood due to killing countless of men, etc... but later taeui was ok he didn't react like it's a big deal like having a mental breakdown or being in a extreme depressed state but instead he said about it with some disappointment and then brush it off like it was nothing ( if i were him, i would just give up and die because it takes courage to forgive such act) even when it comes to shinru doing things with ilay taeui still liked him and forgave him like it wasn't a big deal even to ilay too ( yeah they were still fu** buddy and communicated normally like nothing had happened), ilay even takes noticed about how abnormal taeui is from his brother wheares his brother would develop depression and anxiety ( they even stated it in a specific panel) it shows that no matter how taeui isn't lucky like his brother's intelligent and good luck he has luck when it comes from respond and emotional intelligent to a situation, i'm not here to say that the story is well written but if that's what the arthur intention then i hope it brought up again.
