His brother is a good man but he is sick. He asked ML to be the king later to replace him. Both of them are very close and love each other dearly, as in siblings love. Later during the angst between MC and ML happened, and at the same time his brother died. My heart broke so much for both of them during this chapter 💔😭 soooo sad
