Why does there need to be a redemption arc? Y was never overly uncaring towards K. They just realized they loved each other at different times.

@AnnieMaven last chapter he literally threatened to kill himself if he did not open the door.......he's literally ALWAYS put himself and his wants above kyuho's....there is a ton sh** of he did worse than just not realizing he was in love sooner...........
