I just have to vent about it. WIB is Imu's ability? Is he like Blackbeard with 3 stomachs that lets him use 3 at once that have compliment each other allowing this to happen? Immortality, empowerment and control with no apparent limitations on numbers, requirements or costs. How can Imu even be defeated or why it took him this long to "clean house!" This is the final arc and i know these answers will be a sign that the story is ending but they bug me to no end.
@Nobody I'm thinking Imu has a G** fruit on par with the Nika fruit, but Imu just has centuries more experience and experimentation to test its limits. Possibly THE Devil fruit. Which, if I'm right, would be OP asf for someone centuries old and has a lot of creativity on the side. I noticed that the fruit allows Imu to turn others into demons and give them "immortality" in exchange for a chunk of their lifespans, which is possibly how Imu's lived for so long.
@OpalEyes The devil fruit makes quite a bit of sense, considering how DF are supposed to be "dreams" of everyone add immortality to it and one can elevated to insane levels eventualy.
The lifespan makes no sense though, since lifespan becomes irrelevent at least to the Gorosei maybe the lower contracts can die from old age seeing how one group ages while the other does not.
@Nobody Oh, apologies. I meant their lifespan gets added to Imu's lifespan. Considering humans on this planet can live to be 140, it's struck me as odd how not one GK (I'm not including Gunko because she's way above a normal GK) isn't SUPER old. I'm thinking that by becoming GK they sacrifice a part of their lifespan and Imu's absorbs those years somehow. This is just an idea I have that Imu's immortality still needs fuel and that fuel in the contracts for G**'s knights. Imu's DF gives them the ability to take years from others and store them up in a type of piggy bank to use either for Imu's self or the Gorosei/whatever Gunko's level is.
@OpalEyes I'm working on the theory Imu has the 'Devil no Mi and is a 'contract Human' and Kings need to read the fine print. It wouldn't surprise me if half the stuff Luffy is fixin by accident isn't from those contracts bleeding the 'Will to ___' out of folks. Bury the sigil and let em rip it out of the islands' Nobles and civilians alike. Rulers get greedier and folks wither. Just wish the sigils were clearer so I can compare em to the Books of Solomon, cause it reads as a Solomon sigil.
