@aasegovia88 i believe only the king side of the story was an illusion, the rest was all real
@aasegovia88 The time lapse probably didn't happen, his kindom was already on the brink of falling. maybe some months pass, just enough to the demons finish the job. but not 20 years (because we still have to deal with the manipulations of the demon queen)
