TBH, author didn't make this dude much of an "MC". He always needs someone to help him in crisis scenario (professor, elf mage, now vampire girl). Whether he is suppose to be OP or not, well he seems like he is just running on luck rather then experienced knowledge to make himself stronger. Basically, as is, the author made this guy an idiot who is just happen to be strong for the timestream and got sent back but have not used any of his past experience to his advantage. He got a little stronger and gained mana BY PURE LUCK! Whoopie, fuc**** ret*** character.

@SoSop well if he did become the strongest right from the start without any struggle then it would be boring. Every fight would end without a thrill or suspense. So in that sense the author is doing great.
