okay so the scene where yeon had hit his heard when he was getting teleported to kihoon bc the mission failed but he was unconscious for a moment and he saw himself and kihoon in the goryeo period im pretty sure and they were kids wrappings the red string around that boulder, so this was a past like, then this connects to the dream kihoon had of the two of them during that period getting a freak on but then eventually his misfortune came in and yeon ended up dying because of it in their past life💔

and about dahye, she lowkey may of been yeons past soulmate at some point or fiancé idk some sorta romantic relation to him therefore the string faintly appeared when he was interacting with her in the present time in this chapter 😟
