Yall acting like they were lovers when they were nothing more than mere master and prostitute. MC was selling his body to ML. ML isn't to blame that MC fell in love with him and expected to be treated like a lover. That's no different than a stalker catching feeling cause the object of their affection not giving them the time of day. ML did lots of MC yes but those were unconsciously or for his benefits. He always lived for his survival. Growing up in an abusive home not knowing what love is. He held on to the idea that his mother would return as she left not just because of the abuse but their financial situation. That was the last glimpse of hope he had as a child. Thanks to the coach he got something else but again he had to face rejection and abused from his peers in the gym. He's partial to elders because of coach mother who took care of him and gave him some affection that were foreign to him at that point in his life. ML owed MC nothing at all. Yall can call him redflag as much as it pleased yall but it still wouldnt change the fact that MC was selling himself and expected more of the exchange. Then caught feelings when ML didn't return his affection. Is MC entitled to being loved the way he want? YES. But that wasn't the relation they had. And if we are being honest ML did quite lots for him and we got glances of little affections from him ever so often. But again that wasn't the deal they had. This wasn't even the case of FB but s*x for cash. Both ML & MC had trauma and craved something and I think that's the reason they are drawn to each other. I don't see ML as the bad and MC as good in this story. They are both broken pieces of the person they should be. I hope they will be whole with each other.
