@NightShade he's been conditioned to do what they tell him, this is probably the first time he's gotten such freedom, freedom of thoughts and actions. So yea he might start thinking like that now but before? He has no choice but to obey them.
@NightShade Who will follow him? it's more likely he'll be executed as monster and traitor, he can't fight alone against a whole nation.
