Comment on ChapterYou Are My World - Chapter 19
Okay, already clowned on comments, but gotta comment again, now on this scene specifically. Yeah, yeah, "yet another Omegaverse with rаре in it", which, sure, seems unnecessary, but with how people were always trash talking Juhyeok's behavior (which he had all right for to act that way) while defending Su-ah's actions simply because he's pretty and would cry sometimes (and would by extension be perceived as automatically good guy based on his looks), it *was* actually necessary for Su-ah to cross the line into doing something really fuсked up just to have people realize how possessive and toxic he really is (since the audience has failed to catch onto hints before, even believing he's somehow a green flag).

Also, amazing of author how they made a scene that has both hot parts and disturbing parts and mixing it together in such impactful way. Not so amazing for not proper warning (the warning implied there'd be dubcon, not noncon).

@4n0n adding on more thoughts, just rambling here. I do find Su-ah an interesting character actually. I wonder how much of his behavior could be because of how socialization. Su-ah was raised by Omegas and believed he'd be one too, so he was probably taught about heat cycles, what scenting can do, what to beware of, etc. There's likely also fiction aimed at Omegas that normalizes toxic actions, kinda how many romance genre aimed for girls and women contains abusive guys, which subconsciously makes a person believe that's "romantic". Now, while he knew of how Omegas work and how Alphas impact them, he likely wasn't taught specifically what Alphas would be taught, like how scenting and marking is a crime. At most, he probably saw a version of it through rose colored glasses where it's painted as "romantic" because "the Alpha loves their Omega so much they're willing to go against the law".

This isn't excusing Su-ah's actions by any means, it's simply just analysis on how his life experiences could've shaped his personality and behavior. In a way, it also makes some things he did to Juhyeok worse because he knew what they'd do to Juhyeok (throwback to back when they were kids and doctor told Juhyeok about being scented for prolonged time, when Juhyeok confronted Su-ah with "only you would do something like this!"* (might be slight misquote, haven't double checked))
@4n0n I agree but this is fiction. The author's i'magination and i love it.
