@Raon_Mir Good question. Not much is known about Guffin/Goffin/Griffin except that the gate back in Kergo where Shirone and the others stepped through to reach Heaven was created by him at some point. He apparently also has a connection to Miro and Ikael. From what I could find, the novel itself doesn't reveal much until much later, but only that Griffin isn't human, very powerful, and has grey hair.
