Imo I understand why the mc hates ian. Of course it's immature and it's not Ian's fault that the mc's dad was s*t, but it's easier to blame someone else than to blame someone you care about. Besides I also think that no one is 100% mature so it's completely normal to be immature sometimes. Of course blaming the ml is kinda unnecessary bc it wasn't his fault, but I understand why he feels that way.
