Spoiler: Since Dohyun used to tutor the MC in middle school, he already had the MC’s mom’s contact information. The MC’s mom has always been overly protective and constantly wanted updates on her son because she worried about him (Because she's famous and wants to protect her son) . But her constant monitoring ended up damaging their relationship, leaving the MC with major trust issues toward her. They’re no longer on good terms. Later, the MC discovers that Dohyun has been secretly messaging his mom, giving her updates about him and telling her what he’s been doing. To the MC, it feels like the one person he trusted has been reporting on him behind his back all along, making the betrayal hurt even more.
