props for the mc for helping at the battlefield but her sister isnt really wrong for some part. mc is kind but a little dumb that i find sometimes annoying and burdensome. u can even see it in some early chapters but i guess its bc of how her fam treats her.

@dafaq  @dafaq I have to disagree on your opinions of Maxi. She's not dumb she's traumatized. A person in that sort of environment her whole life is bound to have developed certain traits or characteristics. Even now, when she thought about how she wanted Riftan to need her? That's literally the anxiety and people pleasing personality she developed trying to appease her rotten family.
that terrible sister of hers is literally bringing her down further when she's already in a deeply depressed state of mind.
those kind of words could send someone over the edge.
Maxi isn't dumb...and I hope she only grows stronger from this. I just also hope she takes care of herself.
@Sternriver if one reads the novel they will releize how strong of a weman she is and her being reckless and jumping into denger is breve of her especially to help others she is selfless however the manhwa does not elastrat that to well
@dafaq this strongly reminded me of

"Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right" ~doflamimgo

What you said is essentially correct all are suffering came from her family, not all kids develop resistance and self love like others and then they are always suffering.
@Sternriver what did i say bruh? "but i guess its bc of how her fam treats her." her being traumatized and constantly being anxious is what led her to do some little dumb things. she may be smart and strong no denying that but she's not that wise also. u can empathize with her without turning a blind eye of her wrong action. she needs new  coping mechanism or she wont grew as a human.
@Aseel Ghali  I see her strength and I can only imagine how she is portrayed in the novel 💞 I love hearing this!
@dafaq I don't believe Maxi to be an all-knowing individual or without flaws.
i still disagree on your statement that she's dumb for the choices she's made.
The author created a character with heavy anxiety but a will to be brave and figure that out along the way.
When you take into account the time and setting of the story, it makes sense that she makes rash or irrational decisions that most of us wouldn't make. And the fact that there's no one to talk with let alone a therapist or another girl friend. She has Ruth, and I'm thankful for his presence in her life. But other than that, I don't see how we can even fault her for not knowing and learning as she goes.
She was thrust into a leadership role without much prior knowledge on how to run staff or a castle. She's never been in a relationship or had any real friends. She was isolated and tormented. I mean...how could I even begin to fault her? Her blossoming character is beautiful, flaws and all, to me.
Kay, bruh? 😉
