OMG I totally get it!!!! She feels the sweetness of the drink, which is her love for cedric, but if she adds the milk to complete the drink which is basically her saying out-loud that she loves him, she's afraid it will all be over!!! She won't be able to let go when she has to, which is when she believes the OFL to enter. She's trying to hold on to that safe place she's in now... stupid but real
