the Sister is almost completely broken or maybe she is faking it to wait for the moment to strike back with the MC maybe she was enduring until the MC would come it is possible that the mask isn't really locked on her or not locked "completely"
the fact that they let him lock the masks on students prove that the Academy is run by people that are on Richard's side (the Family's Head) the Main Branch Family doesn't care if those people get their minds broken, they only see that they became stronger and that they get so broken that they became simple tools to use how they like the Main Family is formed by people without any humanity
the more i looks at how the Sister moved her head to say no, the more i have the feeling that she has a plan her looks wasn't that of someon broken, but that of someone that still has a fighting spirit in her maybe she knew that the MC wasn't ready to fight that ass****, that's why she stopped him, it wasn't time....yet
i would love to see a scene with the MC and the Sister in a place without anyone spying on them and there she remove the mask, i really hope to see something like this
@Hykaon the mask doesn't force out your potential it's the fact that they starve you till you get to a certain point of strength... when you have no choice but to do it then you either succeed or die...
@Hykaon they looks like they are getting stronger due to hunger and when they show result, they will be given food, but right after they get the mask lock back on, it is a slow Stockhold Syndrome kind of Brainwashing showing that if they get stronger and show result, they will get rewards like being able to speak, drink and eat, forgetting that those are they have the right to speak, eat and drink...that's the cruelest part, they turn those into "rewards", that will slowly take away their humanity
