I love that they're making the princess relevant to the story and she doesn't exist just to be the MC partner
QUEEN JAEKYUNG ON THE WILD

@rei puersi And she's freely choosing to be a "Heavenly King" and MC's co-conspirator. Some of the lamer stories have the FL's options blocked off by the narrative and only leave the "help the villain"option open. Especially once the high spirit was summoned, the princess had a lot of options. (And being her father's heir seems to have been the path of no options but the one given. Nice twist that.)
@rei puersi  You must’ve not been comprehending the story. The writing for her is sexist. There is no way she’s the first born princess AND she knows how to cook. Not only that, her kingdom fell from military glory. That’s the whole reason why she exists to be a weapon. You’re telling me the fuc**** DEMON KING. Kidnapped the wrong princess and instead the most powerful elementalist? “sHe WaNtEd tO bE kIdNapPed” as if she’s not the strongest and could’ve left a long time ago bullshit! The writing is trying to force the ship so bad when it’s literally garbage💀. And keeps trying to make it like she’s genuinely cute when her father acts the way he acts. A literal victim of eugenics & human trafficking spell injection ????  It would make more sense that she’s faking being cute because she can’t be normal from being pressured in childhood & treated as only utility.
@dollguts Aren’t you the one forcing it not to be romance? She’s the one who wants to stay in the demon king castle because she doesn’t want to go back to their kingdom. She wants freedom, so she didn’t say anything about her being mistaken as the 13th princess. Also She has no reason to leave. She likes it there, so why would she leave? And it wouldn’t make sense for the story to suddenly make her leave just to avoid romance.

Also, nothing in the story shows that she was abused, controlled, or treated only as a tool. She’s also not portrayed as someone who can’t act normal. She was given the title of first princess and lives with status and privileges, not someone dehumanized in her daily life.So there’s nothing in the narrative that contradicts her being genuinely kind and bubbly.
