The way the current chapter went with ui geon not sleeping with chiyoung and rejecting him on the bridge will haunt ui geon for yearsss to come after he falls in love with chiyoung. He's going to replay every single one of their moments together (both during their high school years and their present) multiple times and he's going to deeply regret not acknowledging and accepting chiyoung's feelings for him in high school. It was a really emotional read but at the same time sooo realistic and painful. Even though the manhwa isn't as detailed as the novel, I'm still getting choked up everytime one of them secretly yearns for the other (especially my sweet chiyoung, who more than anyone, deserves to be loved and taken care of)... 🥺💔
@Xherie I bought all 4 volumes it on ridibooks for about 14 bucks and just used my browser's auto english translator. But if you're strapped on cash, novelupdates is currently translating it into english for free (the whole thing hasn't been fully translated it so you may need to let it marinate for a bit to let the chapters load up). You just need to make a novelupdates account to be able to access the link embedded into each chapter 😊 the title name is the same as the manhwa; 'Place to Be'.

@Ballerino_Kai thank you so much for the spoiler ❤️❤️
Will there be a time skip? Based on the Korean chapters, Junyoung finally has a heart-to-heart conversation with Kanghee. At that point, does Uigeon realize that he no longer stands a chance? Also, why does Uigeon regret rejecting Chiyoung’s feelings when he was deeply in love with Junyoung at the time?
Well firstly, yes after their convo, uigeon finally realises that he'll never be able to come between them again. His attempt to move on is gradual and it's not just all of a sudden. In the coming chaps, uigeon will get closer to chiyoung (not in a romantic way, at least not yet) by taking him to a gay bar in an attempt to get chiyoung more safely involved in the gay scene because he doesn't want him to go cruising in a dodgy park after he tried to do that in the last chapter.
I don't want to ruin the manhwa for you by spoiling the whole thing, so I won't tell you more than this. But basically, once uigeon and chiyoung confirm their feelings for each other, uigeon falls deeply in love with chiyoung and his kindness (I mean who wouldn't, chiyoung is amazing). He realises that his feelings for chiyoung go deeper than anything he ever felt for junyoung in all his years of his unrequited love. This is when he starts to replay all their past interactions and beats himself up over his past self not accepting chiyoung even though he was always within arms reach during their childhood and all the way until high school.
He gets especially sad when chiyoung brings up some of their shared high school memories where chiyoung was always within uigeon's reach but his blindness and obsession with junyoung prevented him from truly seeing the happiness chiyoung could've brought him had he actually given up on junyoung earlier. He also is just generally mad at himself for wasting over a decade of his life not being at chiyoung's side... sorry for the essay but if this manhwa continues to follow the novel as well as it has so far then you're going to cry really hard lmao 😂💔
@Ballerino_Kai thank you so much for the spoiler ❤️ ❤️
Love and obsession really have a thin line that just blurs together sometimes. Chiyoung never forced things with Uigeon, it was a 'one and done' kind of deal for him. But then there’s Uigeon, pining for Junyoung for years even though he knew his love for Kanghee was always strongly reciprocated. I guess that’s just how differently they see love.
Honestly, why is this so sad though? Is it because of how Chiyoung and Uigeon eventually grow together? It’s clear Junyoung and Kanghee are end-game, but I’d be so heartbroken if Chiyoung ends up being just a rebound 🥺
