@Euqidarf Euqidarf In the end they were forced into it. I can't imagine what would have happened if they betrayed the tribe they were working for.
@Euqidarf Euqidarf as the queen said it before, they were spies but they indeed worked well, and most of them were spies because the other nations held their relatives as hostages
@Lloyd Kuijs It's stated in the novel that Nono's family would have been killed if she didn't spy for the Demonkin. It was likely the same for the others. After all, they're human. None of the other nations would have spared disobedient humans.
