@xerx naucht I think it's because of a few reasons. 1) there would be problems with the succession rights of being king. 2) nebula made a limit on how many lizards or his people, can have that power at the same time. 3) and as we have seen it take a lot of mental fortitude to use the lightning, he would be useless the rest of the battle, you can't have your general useless in battle.
