@I love sweets ML already regretted that he didn't take the real Iheon in when he was standing in front of him, then ran away and jumped.
What would distancing himself do more? 

Most people only start to regret something when it's gone.
And ML only regrets what happened because Deukpal told him that Iheon jumped. Otherwise he would still be this strange guy that is basically his father's prisoner.

@Quintenzirkel but it's still infuriating when he acts like he doesn't have any responsibility any desicion iheon makes he should respect it and stop being fussy about whatever he does like a little child fr for me mc deserves better

But his the ml so at least I hope for development at least in his character

@I love sweets Well, as far as it is known ML's father kept him under strict surveillance since he was 6 years old (since his father assumed ML killed that girl), his entire life was just showing his mask and then suddenly a guy who was in love with him and ran away on a rainy night a few days before that didn't even recognize him when he was asking him about books.
Of course it would pique his interest. So far that he wanted to know what's going on - and getting into a brawl with him where he got told that Iheon jumped off a bridge. Then everything changed, but only because Deukpal didn't treat him like everyone else.

And as far as I can see he lets Deukpal make any decision he wants to make - he still wants to know what is going on. And he will soon. Him being fussy is for us readers to get story. And at least in this one it's not like "Oh sure, your soul swapped, I believe you"... Deukpal even told Sekyung after the brawl in ch 18 that the real Iheon will be coming back soon.

@Quintenzirkel that means his subconsciously acting like his father although I can relate with having a strict environment pushing it on others is a different matter and the fact that it was because of curiosity that started to make him self aware is kinda far fetched if you think about this logically firstly it was not exactly on that rainy night did MC confessed to him and also the rumors circulating around him in school made the whole school self aware that he likes ml which led the mc ( iheon) to be bullied and also traumatized which mc only watched as a spectator it was only on that night that mc came to the ml to threaten him and ran away due to heartbreak and of course stress did the ml suddenly or should I say magically started getting interested in him isn't that just stupid forgetting everything that happened after the gangster took over the body and just focusing on what happened before the ml attitude was super uncanny and uncalled for and also with the fact that you said mc treated him differently he only started to notice that change from that night and as we all saw MC was already in the breaking point meaning he already wanted to die so I still stick to my point of the ml acting fussy and sticking his nose into anything the mc does is super annoying and stupid and also hoping he could still change for the better

@Quintenzirkel and since I saw a comment in a previous chapter saying that iheon ( former) may not come back, it's kind of a letdown I wanted to see his reaction if the former came back and how he would treat him fr cuz his already attached to this one as we can all see

Second you said again that ML's behavior around MC is annoying and stupid - but for ML MC still is another person, not MC. ML still doesn't know that Iheon is dead, he doesn't even know that it is the same body. That's why he collected the hair from MC, his mum and the dad (on the day of the funeral if you remember).
ML's thought process to this point is that he wants Iheon to return (again, not the soul, he wants Iheon in person to return since he doesn't know anything more than what Deukpal told him), but he wouldn't mind if the fake Iheon - Deukpal - stays. 

Iheon's soul will watch the trial of the bully and how he and his gang get sentenced and then forgives the bully what he did to him. But that's for later to happen.

I think I don't get your main point, you're saying ML has no business with MC since he only watched him getting bullied? 
If yes, then no. Everyone watches at some point someone getting bullied and doesn't do anything about it. Just because Iheon was treated badly by his family and broke after all the bullying you want ML to take responsibility for Iheon's suicide. Yeah, no, that's not how the world works or even should work. There are real perpetrators in Iheon's case and ML is not one of them.

@Quintenzirkel well we all have our own opinion I still think his behavior is uncalled for you say it's justified then that's it. we're all free to have our own opinion and I respect that really and just to point out in all respect that the bully originally originated from them saying that iheon is gay ( liking the ml) which tormented the mc which the ml was aware that's just what I'm saying. Nothing more if that means it's got nothing to do with him then that's it . I have nothing more to add let's just enjoy the story

Just on point, you mentioned MC deserves better? I guess you mean the original soul? There's this around chapter 90 in the novel
