Not Yandere. Yandere's are obsessive and possessive about a person to the point of offing anyone who so much as looks at the target of their obsession. Family, friends, pets, strangers the target of their obsession spoke to once / looked at for longer than 2 seconds.

There are more than a few dere types capable of murder / violence when the line is crossed. It's all about context.
The context here is it wasn't about jealousy.
It was about someone abusing his dead brother's children that he loves as if they were his own. And daring to defile the memory of his brother.

@Ashanna Hensley (Ren) There are more dere types? I've only heard of the ever-popular tsundere and yandere. I'm only just now considering that there's more to the verse.
