I get so pis*** everytime I read the comments by people who are only reading the mahwa bcs they don't get Riftan at all honestly it's not yalls fault but it is so tiring everytime seeing people cursing at him without knowing him properly I agree that he has some imperfections but so does maxi if you have read the novel you would get me Riftan is not the man with unnecessary angry issues you all make him to be that man had suffered enough don't wanna compare but he has suffered way more than maxi in his life ever since he was a boy it is so annoying that there is no pov of riftan here

Imagine the person you love decides to risk her life for saving others (that you don't really care as much) and almost dies. Would you be chill about it?
Yes, it's for a noble cause and it's her decision but you want to spend the rest of your life with her and you already went through a lot of sh** for her. Let's be honest....you will be overwhelmed by pain and helplessness before appreciating her bravery.
