That's kind of a weird ending. She never mentioned wanting to be thin, just that she didn't like how some peope treated her because she was fat. I do like that she earned it and he supported her but... I don't know. Feels kind of off, like someone in production wouldn't think the ending was happy unless she slimmed down. I liked her chubby.

@sadamochi But I do feel like a lot was because she was eating really unhealthy before and that's why she'd gained weight.
@miracle999 I don't really think that matters. She didn't just start eating better - she specifically decided to diet and exercise in order to slim down and "be more lovable". And that's a weird thing to do when her being fat wasn't a character flaw, the weight itself didn't bother her, and the ML didn't seem to care. It doesn't really follow from the rest of the story so it feels kind of tacked on.
@sadamochi ooh, that's a good point. If showing her thin by the end WAS a must (though it should not be), maybe making the reason for her chubbiness being the junk food she ate before would've been better. Then showing how the change in her diet made an impact, though it wouldn't happen in such little time. But I feel that could've been more natural since they mentioned before how she'd only been eating junk and eating more than needed as a coping mechanism. Though keeping her chubby wouldn't have been bad in any way either. We need more naturally chubby FLs.
