@Arthur From what I recall Arwen wasn't possessed but in control,she volunteered to be their father's experimental subject when original Ed found out about it he confronted her but Arwen stood fast her course but couldn't force her brother to follow her so Arwen was stuck on her position in no way she pushed him away to save him or the like she simply allowed him to make his own choice since it's his life to live.Their little sister was terrified of the Ed who confronted Arwen about the Evils of their father but didn't know a thing about it just that they where fighting on different views,Ed told the little sister to come with him but she chose Arwen and left Ed alone a decision she would learn to regret if it will be shown in this ark hope that helps.
