Firstly, this translation is really off.
Secondly, yu'er does belong to him. He's his freaking imperial consort!
Thirdly, obviously, yes! This man needs some sense knocked seriously into him. But even with the way he acts out when he feels angry or betrayed, he's not the only one at fault. Are we just going to act like Yu'er didn't lie because he was afraid of disobeying the emperor and being punished by the man(whose name I've forgotten)? Even after the man assured him he wouldn't punish yu'er for something that wasn't his fault and that he could trust him?
Yu'er is a victim, yes. But he's not lacking fault either. He didn't trust the guy the person who loved him and who he loved and ended up in a misunderstanding.
Fourthly, if you read the third part and you're think stuff about the guy like, "he's still an abuser", "he should've investigated what happened", or "he should not be so quick to judge" then you guys are just putting all the blame on him. He's an abuser but he's not a bad guy(you should understand what I mean by bad guy). He treated yu'er well, came to love him, even accepted the fact that he was a man claiming he didn't care about his reputation. Also, he wasn't quick to judge or refuse to investigate, he asked questions and got lies for answers. Answers that really stung and made him hate yu'er and assume things about him. It couldn't be helped.

Lastly, (because I'm tired of typing) there are tons of life lessons to get from this bl. Like don't lie! Or don't treat people wrongly!! If you can't understand this or get something from this then you aren't here for the manhua, you're here just to see two boys get together and that's really insulting to the author and artist.
