For the record, that song yan is still the best friend song yan. His future self still didn't came back from the past so of course when he ask if he didn't love him anymore, he's not asking it in romantic way, it's purely in friendly way. Because song yan is still the straight guy at the time, Xia Lin's childhood best friend. But of course because Xia lin know himself, he wanted to stay away so that he won't fall again.
