so i guess people forgot the part back when they first met the king, the mc saw through the disguise of the woman the king was with the one with red hair, it was said to the king that the mc was someone different or a person who isnt to be underestimated or something along the lines i might be wrong but you get the point, there were a line where the king or one of the two females with the king that said that he knew (the mc) the kings plan and he was pretending to be like a fool king to deceive and to help his people. so in other words the king was not getting tricked by the corrupted nobles.
