Comment on ChapterFutsuu to Bakemono - Chapter 1

i dont exactly know who would find this review helpful but, for me i was kinda surprised (not really) by this twist.

the manga itself having a sort of the summer hikaru died x tbhk inspired in a way. this is just the first chapter but heres my impresion of it: its started off quite strong with the plot twist, a classic "shes a sweet girl, shes normal i envy her(but not to a murderous extent)" and then suddenly "OMG SHES A MONSTER WHO CAN FIT IN DESPITE NOT BEING HUMAN AT ALL, NOT LIKE ME WHO EVEN THOUGH I MYSELF IS HUMAN I CAN BARELY FIT IN, I LIKE HER (whether romantic ot platonic is up to interpretation in this first chapter atleast)

as the black haired girl tries to give her advice on how to be normal it seems she cant. by the counts of qoute on qoute having a weird personality and her (VERY LIKELY) obsession with the black haired girl almost as if this manga is trying to send a message thats sort of like: we never really know who the monsters are around us, but try as they might to hide they'll always be monsters no matter how they seem on the outside.

the blondes admiration also seem to stem from quite the unhealthy place. She wants to be like "takahasi"(her name being in qoutations seeing as shes likely not even "takahashi" just an alien disguising as takahashi much like the summer hikaru died) because she herself cannot be seen as human while something not even human can be seen as one which is why  i feel like shes gonna form some sort of codependence with takahashi, sticking to her, admiring her, obsessing over her and might feel as if she cant be normal, atleast not without takahashis advice or even takahashi herself.

in summary what i think about the chapter is: it already tells us so much about the characters and started off strong and its likely itll become "worse for the better" in a way so, in summary of that summary of chapter one:pretty mid in a good way
