@Bleh Shanks knows. He had to stay behind to care for Bagy, and the rest of the crew reached their goal. Roger laughed, as well as the whole crew, which prompted him to call the island Laugh Tale. When he cane back he told Shanks what he found, and Shanks cried. We also know Roger later revealed to Whitebeard what he found too.

@Bleh Thats why none of shanks crew has a DF so they can swim. Crocus lives in a whale. Rayleigh coats ships, the writing was on the wall T_T. I love this sh** man.

@Bleh Maybe Shanks knows about the history. Maybe he doesn't know about One Piece and weapons.. Roger said something that made Shanks cry.. everyone laughed at Raftel except him when Roger returned.. He also cried when Luffy said the same thing as Roger, probably his dream to become a pirate king.. He even told his crew that it was time to achieve one piece, maybe because he knew it was time that things were getting wrapped up. plus there is a big theory as we all know that Roger picked baby Shanks from G** valley and he is the child of Figarland
