Okay, but that's the problem. Regardless of 'character development' it does NEVER excuse r*pe or SA. It's sick and disgusting on the fact that authors write this stuff and give them a happy ending as though none of that even happened. 
 
I don't have the ability to stop you from reading this, however just know that regardless of what ending is given. It's gonna ultimately be a sh!tty one that finds a way to excuse the SA and r.pe the male lead did. So don't bother reading just for this, "happy ending."
