This ah*** knows subconsciously that Annette loved him, yet he's forcefully denying it as he had deep rooted sense of unworthiness. He just don't believe someone of Annette's calibre can love such a insignificant man like him.  On the other hand Anette must had felt sincerity in his gesture that why she choose him out of everyone else. But he's words and actions made her lose trust on her judgement. She doesn't even trust her own intuition now because of how her intuition turned out to be false in case of him. But she was right,  he's just a coward who is lying about hating her. G** that's why insecure and ignorant both type of man are dangerous. [Sorry to say this, but Everything aside he's very handsome]
