How does the Mc expect his partner to understand his trauma or his issues if he hasn't talked it out with him. Like I know he's been hurt in the past but why get into a new clean relationship if you haven't fully understood that you can't use your exes past actions as a reason to question every action your current partner makes. The Mc says he really wants this relationship to work but relationships can't function and grow from assumptions they grow from communicating about your doubts. But like I'm not trying to but all the blame on him because his partner should've tried to communicate instead of pushing the Mc into a corner.
