I reread this chapter again. I honestly believe DoJae is autistic. He doesn't understand social cues or people's emotions. When someone said something to him or asked him to do he takes things so literally. Like when Euntak said don't contact me again he did it coz that's what he is told despite feeling upset about it coz he don't know what he's done. My son have autism and when I tell him put something down he literally put it down on the floor but what I meant was put it on the table. We have to be careful and choose the right command for him coz he takes things literary. He don't understand when people are being mean to him like when he was little. Bunch of kids tried to hurt and push him away at the playground and he kept laughing thinking they are playing with him until I stepped in and defended him. Anyway I believe DoJae is on the spectrum too that's why he find it hard to understand what he did wrong with Euntak.
