@Well most people don't read stories called 'sadistic beauty' for nuanced relationships.

@Eviscerated Archangel the ratings show what people thought about it.
What sells is the Minho / Wookyung BL, and not for the first chapters. The side stories are much more popular than the main story. So the illustrator should have learned from this.
I repeat : she's stupid. With the talent she has, Lee Geunsam could earn and be as popular as Mingwa if she didn't stick to a market that's too small, something that's too dark. It's a vaste.
Without a little nuance, most readers will hate or drop. That's the game.

@Eviscerated Archangel It's a bl after all, bl means boy love, where is that in the first chapters?? That's what they probably mean.

@Marie_x4 that's like saying twisted love or hunting Adeline is romance. Are they in the romance genre? Yes. Do they cover some pretty grim topics? Yes. Also to be entirely fair, most bl don't have a lot of love in the first few chapters, as they're building up to a relationship. This one just has kind of the opposite. BL is just popular terminology, it's just stories that have men in relationships with other men. There's plenty of more straightforward and not toxic and abusive BL out there, you can complain all you want, but this one will probably only get worse as time goes on. I

idk who mingwa is, also while I enjoy the whole bl sidestory, there is pretty much no nuance there. In fact I really like the ending of them staying together, but I also do think it's the worst possible thing either of them could have done as people. Personally I've read the first chapter and chapters 13&14 over and over, iykyk. Maybe this just isn't your cup of tea. Some of us really enjoy the misery and violence of this author's stories. Frankly the fact that they aren't having s** every chapter is as nuanced as you can expect. 

All in all, maybe you think this niche isn't worth catering to but me and mine will certainly take our scraps with gratitude. It's honestly a growing market, which probably says something about the world, but non-con and dub-con material has been growing since I was in high school. And honestly as an artist myself, you have to create the content you want to see because no one else will get it just the way you want

In Sadistic Beauty BL, my favorite chapter will allways be tthe 31st. But the whole ending finally reaches art.
