THE fujoshi a month ago Chapter 6.5

People misunderstanding this manga will truly be the death of me. This is one of the most realistic depictions of csa that I have ever seen in my life, coming from someone that experienced something eeriely similar to Yui. The love, the fear, the regret. It is all too familiar and I truly despise how topics like this are buried and seen as taboo to even mention let alone depict. Sexual abuse is not pretty and this manga captures that perfectly. Victims that are forgotten, ignored, mistreated and cast aside by our society, can turn out like this; and they do. This cycle of abuse happens to real children and again it is NOT pretty. This manga isn't supposed to be pretty or appealing or serve justice, it is here to remind you of the harsh reality that is this world, the world that cares more about status and appearances than their most vulnerable. They did not get a happy ending, they're messed up for life because the world failed them, like it did countless others. Many people will be disturbed or triggered by this manga and what most people are not understanding is, that is the point. It is meant to disturb you, it is meant to make you feel horrible because it is real life. Real life children are subject to this all the time, bearing feelings no child should have to. It's sick, it's gross, it's fuc*** up, but it is real. Victims can heal, proven by yours truly and many others but this story is about what happens when they don't, when their enviroment drags them down into a cycle that they cannot escape. By all means don't read it if it truly bugs you, nobody will blame you, but please don't spout nonsense because you didn't understand it.
