He did no wrong, he did what was humane and was needed to help the refugees, just cause some people decided to not be humane doesn't mean he was the one that caused their choice, the price shouldn't have fell on him, but instead on how the refugees were supported and cared for. It was unjustified to make him pay for the price of others decisions
