Sooooo all I hear is that you have a G** complex and your issue is that no one can surpass you especially people who you see below you? Got it...

@Dee I can definitely see where you're coming from but I do think theres a deeper motivation than wanting to always be above others or a g** complex as you've put it. Both Kwon Daegun and Park Heejun felt they had nobody in their lives, no family to rely on or a group of people with whom they could feel were their "home" their safe place. Both presented a version of themselves to the world in order to survive it. Kwon Daegun, who was always weak and allowed others to walk all over him likely did so because even being mistreated was preferable than being utterly ignored. Being the target of violence and abuse necesitates a persons attention and when you have noone in the world who will even look at you let alone think of you. Park Heejun on the other hand developed the belief that people would only be around him if they were weaker than him. His reason for being was to remain the strongest so that people had a need for him to fill, this justified his existence. His meeting Kwon Daegun presented a challenge of this internal belief system which had kept him going up until that point as Kwon Daegun continued to get stronger and stronger eventually outclass ing Park Heejun. The issue is, to Park Heejun Kwon Daegun's developement meant that Park Heejun would lose a person who he had come to think of as his family. And given his paradigm of being, in order for him to prevent Kwon Daegun from abandoning him he had to try to stunt his developement and when that failed their relationship became adversareal. However it seems as though Park Heejun has now grown sufficiently to begin to question his own worldview and the actions he took in service of that worldview. Both men seem to mourn the loss of their closest friend and have been living in service of justifying that loss in their own ways so that they might overcome the grief and empty solitude they both were forced to carry once more after their paths diverged.
@goof if only i had written this long in exams back then, I might have gotten a first position 😂
@goof you're absolutely right and I get and understand both their side of the story, except Park works on his warped perception he and Kwon would never go back to being as they were which I doubt would even be possible as so much has happened, but I belive there is still room for reconciliation if they both work on their grief and way of reasoning..they are making enemies of each other when it shouldn't even be
