MC isn't stupid, if you know someone for a long time would you expect that form them no, we are in third view which means we can see both characters and it's plainly laid out for us, MC knew the guy for most likely likely 6 months or more based on the way they talk, would you expect to be set up by someone you trust, no you wouldn't so shut the fu** up
