HATE ME ALL YOU WANT but I think both of them are valid, both his ex and the purple hair(I'm bad with names) his ex hid stuff and let it affect them, same goes for the purple hair since it bothered her along the way and caused a misunderstanding between the two when she hid her phone. You might say "but his ex left him without explanation" blah blah blah people make mistakes, you can't tell me you haven't sinned, made mistakes in your life or done something wrong, how about instead of judging others (even if it's fictional) you guys look at yourself the bible speaks of it Aswell so yeah, I root both of them and either are okay let's see how it goes since this is in the authors hand's

@VOID See it's worse on Hae-in part when you take into account that, this ex you metioned doesn't exist. She would've had to accept his confession which didn't happen. So yes, he did have a cruch on her but it didn't amount to anything so necessaryily it's not relevent. While Hea-in is hiding that she is the lead singer to his favorite band.
@Man of Culture indeed and In the end no matter what we may come across, it's quite litterly in the hands of the author so let's not waste emotions, or hate and just enjoy whatever happens in this very beautiful manga
