.. this situation is hilarious .. the poor girl who didn't get love and wasn't treated as a human ( the Duke's house maids got treated better than her soo I felt bad to read some old comments here her bio mother was cruel and her father's family ws cruel she never ever leared anything else that survival.. he mind and boy were in basic survival mode since birth .. it's not going to be healed in just a year or soo ) she was left alone without a word by her husband . If it was in the old mansion she would be cleaning or Cooking or doing something to keep her busy but now the only thing that kept her busy was overthinking and then there is poor duke he must be working day and night to restore everything and must have had a big pile of documents that needed to be checked out after along time of absence . He must be thinking she is having a great time with the loving and kind staff and enjoying her days .. then he meets her and she is angry about a imaginary mistress she over thought ..
