I don't know about y'all but this doesn't make me feel sad for him, this just makes me dislike him because he basically doomed his entire race to save 1 person.

@Rick Anapaz frankly, they were already doomed, that las ac can only buy them time for he next army to arrive, or they can resist by always sacrificing kids... (and probably the empire had more armies to spare than the village had kids)
@Rick Anapaz You sound like the kind of person who blames the guy trying to fix the problems created by someone else. And listens to the person who makes excuses when they created the problems.
@MewDragon Not really, I just feel bad for the thousands that died because of this one decision, if he wanted to change their ritual, then there were better ways than this.
I do not condone what the leaders were doing by any means but dooming thousands of innocent people (including other children) that clearly had no knowledge of this either is just as bad as doing the ritual in the first place.

@Rick Anapaz i too feel the same.if he had that much guts , he could have taken the curse on himself from the biggening. Although what he did was necessary,but sacrificing others is just ...bah.
