is "imprinting" a thing in this universe? because if it is, that could explain why he was so shocked after knotting the mc and why his eyes changed color.
from what i know from other omegaverse universes, it's usually more likely to happen to an omega, but it's not impossible for an alpha to imprint first or even be the only one to.
that's just a very wiiiiild guess though. 😅

Just like ML is a special kind of alpha called GHOST because he can change a beta into an omega by knotting him, MC is his DIAMOND DUST, which is a special person just for the ML, like a fated mate or something similar. That's why he isn't injured after sex and they both smell each other.
