is "imprinting" a thing in this universe? because if it is, that could explain why he was so shocked after knotting the mc and why his eyes changed color.
from what i know from other omegaverse universes, it's usually more likely to happen to an omega, but it's not impossible for an alpha to imprint first or even be the only one to.
that's just a very wiiiiild guess though. 😅
