Speaking as a poc. Let's not romanticize slavery at all. Yes it's good to educate people about slavery and history but there are multiple other ways to portray it. It doesn't have to be some master x slave and honestly it pisses me off how so many people are claiming it's not that deep it really goes to show how some many have no idea of how bad things were and they are just minimizing things because it doesn't affect them.
I happen to be black and I have experienced multiple times of non-black people wanting to engage in some sort of slave and master kink. And degrading me for absolute no reason?? I've been sexually harassed multiple times by people who happens to like reading these type of things. Stop literally stop it's like people are forgetting. We. Are. Humans with actual emotions genuinely it is so weird and I'm grateful the author realized it is messed up. You would never see a Korean author romanticize Comfort women so why do this? Let's use it brains for once.
To you people saying there are more stories that are more gruesome I hope both sides of your pillow are warm. Wdym more gruesome story have you been paying attention to history class?? This is honestly so disgusting and insensitive. Yes the author does not deserve hate yet they do deserve to be educated some stuff are not meant to be romanticized and that's it, if you have issue then perhaps you should seek out a reality check go outside literally
So it actually f**g does affect people daily you just refuse to see it. You admit you like to read r@pe is nothing to be proud of and genuinely you need help. With all disrespect you are disgusting.
