basically alphas dominate, there are dominant alphas too, aside with normal alphas, dominant alphas are the alphas who are on top of the social hierarchy among other alphas, theyre usually more posessive, they have stronger pheromones, more psychical strength, and they are natural born leaders! As for betas, they dont get dominated nor dominate anyone, they can't sense pheromones, dont have any either, they cant get pregnant either. Now omegas get dominated, and it is possible for them to get preggo, there are also dominant omegas who have stronger pheromones, etc.. theres also recessive omegas, who have weaker pheromones than normal omegas, they sometimes get mistaken for betas. Now, there are also Enigmas who are hyper-dominant alphas, they are greater than even dominant alphas. For your question, a beta can become an omega if they've been showered with alpha pheromones for a long period of time, its called a 'pheromone shower' usually!
