i kinda understand tei because he has to think logically as he is older and much experienced he is right about taking woman as a consort ofc he has too breed to keep the bloodline alive shuraka is cursed prolly because of that and u cant breed child with him plus he has not yet developed feelings for him as he meet him when he was just a child so he didnt developed romantic feelings He also left his hometown without ever questioning him even tho he was unsure of all of this and prolly thinks he will get replaced by a woman who is much suited for him even after this he stills respects shuraka and tries to please him until he changes his mind so overall he's surely not happy and their relationship is kinda toxic in a sense (although its entirely opposite for shuraka my man is downbad)
