Dude I literally was going to mention Black Mirror. I don't think it's similar tho, , but I do love the plot and it feels kinda unconventional. 

Also, I always recommend Banana Scandal. S1 is nice and cute, but 2 and 3 are amazing. And therefore there's lots of s**, it's a medium, not the theme. And there you won't find the awful cliches there're in most of BL's. Yes the topics, not the unhealthy way they're usually depicted

Escape into oblivion is coplicated and toxic too so i guess it would be like ideal for you if that's what you are searching. I personally, am not very confident recommending this bc i didnt like the end but i guess you may like it you never know

@LucidNarwhal I've read banana scandal and all the seasons were literally soo good. So I'll read black mirror now 🏃🏽

@Iambatman I'll give it a try but is there violence in the stroy? Cuz im not a fan of those.

It does have some violence though

Anyway skip that manga i have some other dw here
1) How to be the chosen one(it is my fav and i really like the plot even thought it has s*x scenes i read it on bato)
2)Logic love (it is pretty good i just dont like the miscommunication)
3) whisper through the willows(i love that too) 

@Ochinchin I read your other comment so I need to say that in Black Mirror THERE IS violence and gore. But not between the main couple, and among that violence, the sense of... respect? and full consent between them is refreshing and uncommon in this genre. I love that story because it forces you as a reader to adjust your mindset to a morally dark-grey environment<3

@LucidNarwhal bruh i read black mirror and HOLY SH** it was sooo amazing. Plot was unique and art style was just 😮💨. I liked that the author didn't stretch the story too much.
