So basically it all started when mo ran plucked a beautiful flower because he wanted to give it to his shizun but his shizun misunderstood and beat him as punishment since it was forbidden to pluck that flower. His shizun cooked wontons because he thought that if he gives it mo ran won't be mad at him anymore. BUT INSTEAD he used shi mei to give the wontons since he was shy/scared/or idk. It all started from that hatred and that hatred grew more, and he developed feelings for shi mei (He was just infatuated.) So when his shizun died in the second time line he finds out the truth and realizes his real feelings. (Which took him a long time.) So, uhhh, that's all.
