Take a look at the middle east. This mentality is not gone from this world.
This mentality is alive and well in countries like Afghanistan where girls have acid thrown in their face for going to school, in Suadia Arabia a few years ago they allowed women the right to drive, a few weeks ago a woman in Iran died in police custody for not wearing a hijab, in Mexico cartels routinely use sexual violence against women, there is a global s** slavery market primarily targeting women and children. Some places are good these days, but there are many that are pretty much crimes against humanity.
